Top Iranian general and six Hezbollah fighters killed in Israeli attack on Syria's Golan
Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said in a televised speech on Friday that the Lebanese group has the right to respond to Israeli 'aggression' in any place.
Two Israeli soldiers and a Spanish peacekeeper were killed in an exchange of fire between Hezbollah and Israel.
Iran's Revolutionary Guards issued a statement saying that Mohammad Ali Allahdadi, the top Iranian general, was killed while on a visit to the southern Syria as an Israeli helicopter opened fire. Six of Lebanese Hezbollah fighters were also reported to have been killed in the attack.
